Color Kickball

This week (September 23, 2026) ASB hosted a very unique event involving SOAR students and their teachers. In the event, staff members and students played a game of kickball while colored powder was thrown at the players. The game resulted in a staff victory and memories for years to come.

This event is an incredible showcase of the vibrant communities here at SOAR Palmdale. From freshman to seniors, there is always a unique community open to everyone. This highlighted the opportunity all students have to join and build their own unique, active community on our campus.

This event is only one small activity among the many things planned and organized by groups such as the SOAR Palmdale Associated Student Body (ASB). Upcoming community events include Homecoming (which as of this article's publication will be tonight), College Field Trips (such as the upcoming trip to CSULB and UCI on October 16, 2026), and activities throughout National Suicide Prevention Month.
